I finally listened to the audiobook of EMPT today, and i found myself jotting down all the juicy words Watson used, like: thrilling, sudden flood of joy, close intimacy, tingling aftertaste, danger, when/where you like, affectionate regard, quivering, ejaculation, quivering (again!), and “Holmes sprang like a tiger” (plus more tiger references). If that list was a fic prompt, i wonder how many writers would come up with a case fic, and how many would go directly to PWP? :D
